The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) conducted a study last year, reaching out to low-income residents living in subdivided flats (with a median income below 75% of the Hong Kong population) through 54 social service units. A total of 1,105 valid questionnaires were collected to identify a range of health risk factors, including physical and mental wellbeing, environmental health and health behaviors, as well as access to medical service. Policy and service recommendations were made. The research findings were released in March 2023. The study was based on different data sources and the findings were analyzed based on a three-level primary healthcare prevention model. The report is divided into four chapters, presenting the wellbeing of these residents and the high-risk groups through graphics and text.  It also discusses how services and policies can support the needs of residents living in subdivided flats in the community.
