The Caring Company Scheme 2024/25 (the Scheme) will begin accepting applications on 20 March 2025. Below are the latest updates on the Scheme:
1) First Round of Nominator List Released
Companies can now check if their community partners are eligible nominators via the Nominator List. Companies must receive a nomination from an eligible nominator to complete the application for the Scheme logo. To view the first-round list, please click here.
If charitable organisation would like to become a nominator but not yet registered on the first-round list, kindly action by 24 January 2025 so that your organisation would be on listed in the next round in advance of the opening of the new system, for easy reference by your partners. To learn more about the application, please click here.
Please note that all charitable organisations that meet the nominator eligibility must first have an online account and join the Nominator List before they can make nominations and complete relevant forms in the system.
2) New Online System Accounts
For companies applying for the Caring Company Logo and organisations applying for the Caring Organisation Logo (referred to as “Applicants”) in the 2024/25 cycle, if they have participated in the Scheme in past years, their contact persons will receive an email on 20 March with a link to set up their account password for the new online application system. At that time, each contact person simply needs to follow the instructions to activate their online accounts and initiate the online application process.
For first-time applicants, they can directly apply for an online account through the new system once it is open.
3) List of Barrier-Free Companies / Organisations
The “List of Barrier-Free Companies / Organisations” aims to recognise and encourage companies and organisations that actively support and establish barrier-free environments and cultures. With concerted efforts of over 300 companies and organisations participating in previous 12 years, this programme and the validity of the listing will officially be concluded on 28 February 2025.
We look forward to creating different platforms with the business and the public sector to promote the barrier-free environment and culture. For details of the barrier-free criteria that have been considered before and the previous listings, please click here.
