Policy Research and Advocacy
Project Officer (Ref No: HKCSS/067/2024)
One-year renewable contract
Responsibilities:
- To support service operation of social housing project, including but not limited to tenancy and maintenance issues, data analysis and preparing reports and secretarial works
- To engage and work with various stakeholders, including steering committees, community partners, service operators, professional bodies, contractors etc.
- To support policy research on social or health issues, and event organization
- To handle procurement, maintain project database, manage general enquiries, and other administrative works
- To advocate/ campaign for selected issues related to social services and social policies
Requirements:
- Degree holder in social science, or relevant disciplines of social/ human services
- Experience in providing social services, service coordination, project management and/ or community development preferred
- Self-motivated and a good team player with problem solving skills
- Flexible, and highly organized
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
- Good command in written and oral English and Chinese
5-day work per week. 15-day annual leave.
