Policy Research and Advocacy
Project Manager (Ref No: HKCSS/068/2024)
One-year renewable contract
Responsibilities:
- To oversee and manage the social housing projects
- To manage/support policy research on social or health issues
- To work with the Project Steering Committee
- To work with operators to ensure efficient and effective implementation of the project
- To engage partner organizations and various stakeholders, including but not limited to government departments, professional bodies, contractors, service operators or social enterprises effectively to contribute to the project
- To advocate/ campaign for selected issues related to social services and social policies
Requirements:
- Degree holder in social science or relevant discipline
- A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience, with a proven track record in project management, service coordination and/ or community development preferred
- Good knowledge of social housing and/ or housing policy in Hong Kong
- Managerial and NGO experience, close network with NGOs, property management and/ or related professions will be an advantage
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
- High proficiency in written and oral English and Chinese
5-day work per week. 15-day annual leave.
