Policy Research and Advocacy

Project Manager (Ref No: HKCSS/068/2024)

One-year renewable contract

Responsibilities:

• To oversee and manage the social housing projects
• To manage/support policy research on social or health issues
• To work with the Project Steering Committee
• To work with operators to ensure efficient and effective implementation of the project
• To engage partner organizations and various stakeholders, including but not limited to government departments, professional bodies, contractors, service operators or social enterprises effectively to contribute to the project
• To advocate/ campaign for selected issues related to social services and social policies

Requirements:

• Degree holder in social science or relevant discipline
• A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience, with a proven track record in project management, service coordination and/ or community development preferred
• Good knowledge of social housing and/ or housing policy in Hong Kong
• Managerial and NGO experience, close network with NGOs, property management and/ or related professions will be an advantage
• Excellent communication and engagement skills
• High proficiency in written and oral English and Chinese

5-day work per week. 15-day annual leave.
