Project Executive (1-year Contract, renewable)

The Project Executive is responsible to assist the Assistant Manager in the development and execution of the Oxfam Grant for Good Programme, a social innovation incubation programme supported by the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SIE Fund). It aims to provide funding, capacity building training, networking opportunities, and other business support to innovative projects that make a significant impact on poverty alleviation and social inclusion.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and logistical support in the daily operation of the team.
- Assist in the coordination of proposal screening and vetting exercises.
- Assist in providing consultation to programme participants.
- Visit and monitor the progress of funded projects regularly, maintaining strong relationships to ensure quality social impact.
- Prepare timely and structured reports, presentations, documentation, and correspondence.
- Undertake other related tasks as requested by the Assistant Manager.
Requirements:
- Degree holder with 1- 2 year of working experience in social entrepreneurship, community services, project management, start-up incubation, grant making, philanthropy, or related areas. Fresh graduate will also be considered.
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese.
- Detail minded and organized with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously across multiple tasks and to manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office, and Chinese word processing.
- Knowledge in data analytics is a plus.
- Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.
