Innovation and Technology for Ageing (ITA)
The ITA team of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service works to contribute towards a better and more respectable life by the adoption of gerontechnology in social service and the community.
Programme Executive (Ref No: HKCSS/069/2024)
One-year contract
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and managing various types of exhibitions, events, conferences and webinars, including theme, timing, venue, budget, and event flow
- Coordinate with relevant vendors and participating parties to ensure smooth event execution
- Track event processes and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Manage on-site operations during the event to ensure all workflows are efficient and seamless
- Demonstrate the ability to independently solve problems and flexibly respond to unexpected situations
- Maintain office management, support administrative, and logistic duties of the team
Requirements
- Diploma holder or above;
- Familiarity with event planning and execution processes, and adept at coordinating resources
- Relevant work experience in event/exhibition management is preferable
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational management skills
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, multi-tasking with innovative thinking
- Ability to work independently, as well as excellent teamwork spirit
- Proficient in English with good communication skills
5-day work per week. 15-day annual leave.
