Information Security Officer
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain information security policies to meet regulations and best practices
- Conduct regular risk assessments on IT systems and processes to identify vulnerabilities
- Implement global security initiatives that align with local business needs
- Act as the main contact for information security inquiries, providing timely responses
- Work with IT and business teams to raise security awareness and ensure compliance
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of security measures and compliance
- Track security alerts and respond promptly to potential threats
- Lead incident response efforts to address security breaches and minimize impact
- Prepare and present regular reports on the state of cybersecurity to senior management and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
- Holder of relevant industry recognized security certification e.g. CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Solid experience in information security services, including security operations, vulnerability management, penetration test, cyber incident response planning
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to assess complex security issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive relationships across the organization.
