Deputy Resource Development Manager
Job Purpose:
The post is to support the management team to identify the major trends of the market to detect fundraising opportunities by conducting market research and data analysis. Moreover, s/he will assist the Manager in fundraising campaign strategy development to achieve the team’s one-off fundraising goal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to Manager/Senior Manager and assist in overall planning and goal setting of fundraising projects and related initiatives
- Ensure cost effectiveness and operational efficiency in fundraising & marketing initiatives. Including planning and execution, content preparation and operational support on Direct Mailing, Digital Fundraising etc.
- Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams, internal departments, external vendors/partners to ensure the smooth implementation of the projects
- Assist in evaluating existing projects/initiatives, giving recommendations to streamline processes, identifying new channels and new fundraising tools
- Design and planning for projects and campaigns, develop project milestones, budget plan, resources plan and deployment plan to ensure the project goes smooth
- Engage in project tracking, onsite management, post-event report, data analysis, figure presentation and staff performance evaluation
- Support management team in implementation of new strategies, policies and/or initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree holder in related discipline, preferable in Marketing, Communications or Business Development
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, preferable in event management, marketing development, and fundraising campaign
- Strong communicator, with ability communicating with the management team, and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders
- Positive thinking mindset, upholding can-do spirit and managing to mobilize other team members
- Self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, independent, detail-minded and able to work under pressure with good multitasking skills
- Hands-on experience in team management will be an advantage
- Prior working experience in NGO will be an advantage
- Excellent command of both written and oral English, Chinese/Cantonese/ Putonghua.
