As the global population ages, individuals with disabilities are also facing a trend of “double ageing” alongside their caregivers. This underscores the importance of collaboration across various sectors to share best practices in social services, promote innovative technologies, and foster social cooperation to create a safe and age-friendly environment. The Council is organising an International Symposium titled “Strengthening Inclusive Communities & Age-Friendly Future for All: Champions of Change”. This event will bring together international and local experts to share policy, social care, and technological support strategies, aiming to develop a collaborative vision and actionable steps for an inclusive future.
