We are delighted to invite you to join the Asian Family Summit 2024 to be held in December in Hong Kong jointly organised by the Consortium of Institutes on Family in the Asian Region, the Social Welfare Department and the Family Council of the HKSAR, the Connecting Hearts, the Faculty of Social Sciences of The University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service.
The Asian Family Summit is a major activity to celebrate and wrap up the regional efforts to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the International Year of the Family as promulgated by the United Nations. The theme of the AFS 2024 is “Towards a Better Tomorrow for Families: Partnership, Collaboration & Action for Sustainable Development” with focus on four megatrends, namely Urbanisation & Migration, Demographic Changes, Climate Change and New Technologies, all of which are impacting the family.
