The demand for improved dementia care is rising globally, driven by an ageing population. To address these needs effectively, there is an urgent need for coordinated efforts involving multiple sectors, including social care, healthcare, and innovation and technology. In response, the Council is hosting an International Symposium titled “Charting the Future: A Strategic Action Plan for Dementia Care”. This event will bring together international and local experts to share insights on relevant policies, research, and practical experiences. The aim is to enhance local strategies and foster collaboration with the international community to advance prevention efforts and improve the quality of dementia care.
