Information Security Officer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain information security policies to meet regulations and best practices
• Conduct regular risk assessments on IT systems and processes to identify vulnerabilities
• Implement global security initiatives that align with local business needs
• Act as the main contact for information security inquiries, providing timely responses
• Work with IT and business teams to raise security awareness and ensure compliance
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of security measures and compliance
• Track security alerts and respond promptly to potential threats
• Lead incident response efforts to address security breaches and minimize impact
• Prepare and present regular reports on the state of cybersecurity to senior management and stakeholders

 Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
• Holder of relevant industry recognized security certification e.g. CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of information security principles, practices, and regulatory requirements. 
• Solid experience in information security services, including security operations, vulnerability management, penetration test, cyber incident response planning
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to assess complex security issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive relationships across the organization.
