The Narcotics Division of the Security Bureau is currently conducting a consultation for Three-year Plan on Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Services in Hong Kong 2024-2026. The main objectives of this consultation are: 1) to evaluate the existing drug treatment and rehabilitation (T&R) programmes in Hong Kong and address whether the services provided align with the latest drug scene and service needs; 2) to identify for adjustment and enhancement of the existing T&R services; and 3) to advise on the strategic directions to which T&R services should take in the three-year period from 2024 to 2026.
In this regard, the Council will hold a series of online consultation meetings with industry stakeholders to seek their opinions on several important areas. The relevant opinions will be reflected to the Narcotics Division through different channels. The details of the consultation meetings are as follow:
