The WiseGiving website (http://www.wisegiving.org.hk) is launched in 2007 to promote charity accountability and transparency in Hong Kong.  We encourage charities to disclose their services, governance and financial information voluntarily for public access.  As charities nowadays can share their information more timely through organization websites and social media, the WiseGiving website will stop operation with effect from 1 January 2020.

The Council shall continue to display members’ information through the “Directory of Social Service Organizations in Hong Kong” (http://dss.hkcss.org.hk/ngo_list.php) so that the public can learn more about social service organizations.
