Program Development Officer (One-year contract) [Ref.: HMTPU/PDO/19/02]

Program Development Officer

S/He is staff members of the Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Programme Unit and his/her job responsibilities and requirements are as follows:


  • Coordinate with the institutional funders on Ethnic Minority (EM) and other related projects
  • Coordinate with project partners for developing new program initiatives relating to EM education and employment issues
  • Explore other IF applications, develop proposals and prepare presentations to potential funders
  • Engage corporations for providing volunteers and job experiencing opportunities etc. to EM groups
  • Implement the promotional and marketing plan for the programme and organize events
  • Work on the related research, campaign and public educational work; and undertake other duties as required



  • Degree holder, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience (business or fundraising experience preferred)
  • Solid experience in project management and excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of ethnic minority poverty and education issues
  • Understanding of the formal education system
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Identification with Oxfam's mission and vision is highly desirable
