Invitation to Policy Seminar

Children Service – Seminar      2019/05/17

The Policy Bulletin Issue 25, ‘Children Rights’ aims to explore how children’s rights stakeholders, including children poverty researchers, Commission on Children, practitioners of family and youth services and mainstream education, help to formulate policies and services for the promotion of children’s well-being.

In connection with the discussion on Commission on Children (CoC) in this Issue, the Council will hold a policy seminar on ‘Reviewing the effectiveness of the Work of the Commission on Children’.  We have invited speakers who are concerned about the subject to review the work and positioning of the CoCI to raise suggestions for the CoC to better perform to improve children’s well-being. We shall engage the participants of the forum to discuss with the speakers how the Commission members and the sector may work together to enhance the future work of the CoC.
