Fundraising Manager – Private Partnership

S/HE reports directly to the Director of Fundraising and works closely with the fundraising teams and other Units with the aims to increase fundraising income from the Private Sector including major donors / high-net-worth individuals, corporates, foundations and family trusts in Hong Kong and Macau.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop fundraising strategy and action plans for the development of private sector partnerships that are in-line with Oxfam Hong Kong's mission and vision
  • Lead the Private Partnership team to increase the funds raised from a variety of private donors
  • Identify potential partners and donors; and develop fundraising proposals and presentations to meet donors' requirements
  • Establish appropriate stewardship and donor care with donors including regular briefings and reporting, field visits, regular meetings and any supports requested by major donors, corporates and foundations
  • Evaluate fundraising results and provide regular analysis reports for developing corrective strategies as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Relations or relevant disciplines
  • Has at least 8 years of work experience, in which 5 years managerial experience in corporate or high-net-worth fundraising, business development and corporate client management at NGO or INGO setting,
  • Must have knowledge in corporate social responsibility / charitable giving  
  • Proven track record in securing corporate sponsorship and funding
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability in relationship building, influencing and negotiating and interacting with senior executives and business leaders
  • Familiar with the latest market knowledge of private sector fundraising focused on major donor giving and philanthropy
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, and fluent Putonghua
  • Identification with Oxfam's  mission and vision is a must
